Quaker presence at People's Climate March, 21st September

Sunday, 21 September, 2014 - 12:00 to 15:00

Join people around the world to call for strong global action on climate change and to challenge the power of the fossil fuel industry.

The day of action has been called because on September 23rd global leaders will be meeting in New York for the Climate Summit organized by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. See www.un.org/climatechange/summit.

On the 21st, which is also International Peace Day, Quakers will stand alongside others taking action on climate change, because without stopping climate change we can’t have peace.

Join Quakers on the People's Climate March, in London.

Meeting at 12 noon for the Peoples Interfaith Space and marching at 1pm from Embankment. At Temple Embankment Gardens (Just by Temple Station). There will be a rally, films, speakers, music and more!

There are also ways to get involved on the day if you don't live in London.
