Muswell Hill

Muswell Hill Meeting started in 1910, with the Meeting House in Church Crescent opened in 1926.
It is the centre for the many, varied activities of the Meeting, at the heart of which is Meeting for Worship.
The average attendance of the Meeting is about 40-50, and the Meeting has a wide age range from babies to people over 90.
The children’s classes are held downstairs in the Meeting House on the 4th Sunday of the month, and the children join the adult meeeting for worship at 10 minutes before it ends, which is around 12.
The Meeting holds ‘bring and share’ lunches about once a month, ususally on the 4th Sunday of the month and they are followed by discussion sessions on social and spiritual themes.
The Meeting is fortunate in having a large garden. It is an organic, wildlife-friendly garden registered as a school’s garden with Go Organic (formerely HDRA). It is also a Fair Trade meeting house.
Pre-meeting Worship Sharing Meeting meets 10.20 – 10.50 every Sunday morning in the Rainforest Room, where we consider a text, usually from Quaker Faith and Practice. It is an open meeting with no need to commit to it on a weekly basis, and with a welcome to latecomers. Live Adventurously! Challenge yourself to get to Meeting early, and enrich your spiritual life.
