Refugee Council Gala Concert Appeal for Child Refugees

fundraising concert being put on to the benefit of the Refugee Council Children’s Section, at the Royal Festival Hall on Monday 15th January 2018.

Streatham & Brixton Friends Meeting

We have three rooms available to hire in an attractive and peaceful location with good transport links.

The rooms are suitable for meetings, training sessions, exercise classes and community support groups.

A flip chart and a computer projector with a screen are available for a small additional charge.

The rooms for hire are:

Elizabeth Fry room: holds 40 people and costs £16 per hour or £105 per day.

Quaker presence at People's Climate March, 21st September

Join people around the world to call for strong global action on climate change and to challenge the power of the fossil fuel industry.

The day of action has been called because on September 23rd global leaders will be meeting in New York for the Climate Summit organized by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. See

About us

Six Weeks Meeting is a Quaker institution dating back to 1671. Its main objective is to maintain, preserve and insure the places of worship in the seven London Area Meetings and it does this using Pooled Funds and assets it holds on their behalf. Trustees are appointed by the Area Meetings.
